As a roller derby skater in the early 2000's I struggled to find ways to train for derby.
There weren't any easy to google how to's and any personal trainer I asked for help responded with "Im sorry, roller what?"

At the time I wasn't a gym rat (nor a personal trainer like I am now) and I didn't have a lot of fancy equipment and so I had to trial and error my way through building my own roller derby training programs.
